Working in the mountains has been my dream since high school, and it's time to make it real. I've recently put a pause on the corporate world - I want to see what's happening in this world.
I'm packing the analytical brain I built in tech, the warmth I've grown volunteering at hospice care, and the natural event-organizer instincts - and hopefully bringing them to use in the mountains. Do you have a role for me? Happy to do (almost) anything and everything!

I sit with patients at the end of their lives at Hospiss LV (hospice and palliative care) - talking, reading, and bringing ice cream. Because ice cream is the best. I also help organize events that grow public understanding of palliative care in Latvia.
It's the part of my life that taught me how to be calm, present, and useful in any room - the temperament a busy mountain season needs ;).
If my friends or colleagues need a plan, idea or a full event, I'm usually the one who shows up with the spreadsheet, the snacks, and the game. People keep telling me I'm a natural at event planning and hosting - so I stopped arguing.
